Evaluating the level of a group
The 7Speaking evaluation tests are part of our training program, but they can be subscribed to separately if you simply wish to evaluate your employees' levels.
The different tests we offer are:
|
| - |
Initial evaluation test online - duration 30 minutes;
|
| - |
Individual oral evaluation by telephone - duration 30 minutes;
|
| - |
Simulation of the TOEIC® test on internet - duration 120 minutes.
|
|
The levels (0 to 5) are defined on the ALTE, TOEIC®, BULATS, and COMMON EUROPEAN FRAMEWORK scales.
Online initial evaluation test
This test enables the English level of each learner to be determined.
The test is composed of:
|
• 20 vocabulary questions;
• 20 grammar questions;
• 20 oral comprehension questions.
|
The test can be taken in only 20 to 30 minutes.
Telephone initial evaluation test
This evaluation lasts 30 minutes and is "one to one" with a teacher. At the end, the teacher tells the trainee his or her level according to the European scale ALTE (0 to 5) and writes up a detailed report of the learner's skills.
Simulation of TOEIC® test
A mock TOEIC® test enables each person's TOEIC® level to be determined. The test lasts 2 hours. At the end of the test, the score out of 990 points is shown on the screen and a report details the learner's skills and abilities.

Tests included in the training
Continuous evaluation of the learner's level can prove that the training is reaching its targets.
The 3 tests shown above are an integral part of the 7Speaking training program. At the start of the training, the trainee takes an initial evaluation test. With this test a personal program suited to his or her level can be defined.
System expert tests: In order to help the user fill the gaps in his knowledge, a test is periodically generated which contains questions covering his/her weaker points. For each of the identified weaker points, the user will be offered selected lessons aimed at bridging these gaps.
Continuous evaluation and final evaluation: Tests are interspersed in each training session and evaluate the skills acquired. The levels are updated in real time after each test.
As for the telephone lessons, the teachers update the oral levels after each session. The final telephone lesson has a detailed final evaluation.
In parallel with these continuous evaluation methods, each learner may at any time take a simulated TOEIC® test. This simulation gives a means to confirm the established level according to the European scale.
Dashboard
The learner's level on a scale of 0 to 5 as well as his progress from one month to the next are displayed and updated in real time on the user's page.
These values enable us to determine the learner's progress throughout the training. The proposed program is self-supporting in that it is generated according to the learner's progress.

This information is also shown on the training manager's screen. Each learner's professional aptitudes are detailed there (see diagram):
- Speaking skills;
- Listening and understanding skills;
- Reading skills;
- Writing skills.
