These language certification tests are developed by Cambridge English, a department of the University of Cambridge in the UK, recognised as a leader in English language certification.

CLOE : a comprehensive certification
The CLOE certification can be taken as part of language training to certify learners’ proficiency. It is available via the CPF (Personal Training Account) for individuals or companies, or outside the CPF as well. Candidates are tested in both oral and written skills, including grammar, vocabulary usage, comprehension, and their ability to communicate clearly and fluently in common or professional situations.
For CPF-funded courses with CLOE certification, a final assessment is mandatory. The certification is fully remote: the first part is an online exam with asynchronous webcam monitoring, and the second part (oral exam) is conducted via videoconference by appointment.
CLOE Oral Evaluation:
The CLOE oral assessment lasts 15 to 20 minutes and consists of three parts:
A question-and-answer session.
A professional scenario related to the candidate’s specific activity.
A discussion on a professional theme or specific to the candidate’s field of expertise.
Important:
For any training funded through the CPF (Personal Training Account), passing the CLOE Certification is mandatory.
BRIGHT: a certification in professional english
The BRIGHT certification assesses skills in line with the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR), evaluating all four CEFR competencies:
- Listening comprehension
- Reading comprehension
- Oral production and interaction
- Written production
The BRIGHT certification is relevant for various roles (communication, commerce, procurement, marketing, finance) in internationalised companies or those with connections to the global market. It can be applied across all sectors, particularly in the most globalised industries (tourism, commerce, pharmaceuticals, construction, IT, industry).
The goal of the BRIGHT certification is to validate the language skills of your employees, enabling them to expand their responsibilities (e.g., new projects, new countries) or access new positions. This certification boosts professional mobility, employability, and re-entry into the workforce.
Diploma of Language Proficiency (DCL): An in-person certification
The Diplôme de Compétence en Langue (DCL) is a national professional diploma designed specifically for adults. It meets the needs of the business world by assessing language skills in realistic work situations. Based on the candidate’s level, the diploma is awarded with a mark corresponding to one of the CEFR levels.
The DCL certifies communication skills—both everyday and professional—applicable across various economic sectors. The test is based on a case study, involving a series of tasks similar to those encountered in professional environments.
This national diploma is aligned with the Eduform quality standard, covering four specialities and up to thirteen languages. The certification takes place in examination centres with sessions organised by the National Education system and is recognised nationally, with no expiration date.
Englis 360° : a 360-degree assessment
English 360 is a language certification that assesses English proficiency in both professional and everyday contexts. Designed for both companies and individuals, it evaluates all four key skills: reading, writing, listening, and speaking. Ev@lang: the flexible certification
Ev@lang is a language certification designed to assess English skills quickly and accurately. Developed by France Éducation International, a recognised certifying body for the Ministry of Education’s diplomas.
Suitable for professionals, students, and institutions, Ev@lang evaluates all four key skills: reading, writing, listening, and speaking. Ev@lang is a 100% online test, available on all devices (PC, Mac, tablets, and smartphones). Its flexibility allows for group or individual assessments, either in person or remotely.
